Not seeing God as GREAT causes carelessness in worship by making us bored with God and excited about the world. If you’ve never seen the sun, you’ll be excited by a lamp post. If you turn your back on the greatness of the majesty of God, you will fall in love with your shadow and spend your whole life pursuing ephemeral greatnesses and pleasures. If you can’t see the greatness of God - He is boring and the world is exciting.
